Can you believe it’s Friday? The Husband couldn’t believe how long this week was but I think it kind of flew by. I was busy at work and at home and I am ready for the weekend. I’ve got a few little adventures in mind for the weekend but I think it’s going to be pretty low key. Just wanted to pass along the things that made me smile this week.
First up, the new album from The Civil Wars. I fell into their music on Spotify and I can’t stop listening. When I heard that a new album was on the way, I was pretty excited. And they didn’t disappoint. The opening song on the album is incredible! Definitely going to be purchasing this one to listen to in the car!
We had dinner with these guys this week! The Husband and I have always struggled to find couple friends and these two are great! We had a mellow pasta night at our house. I am a self professed TV show binger. I had stumbled across a few recommendations for “Once Upon a Time” but hadn’t taken the effort to find it. Husband found the first season for me and we have devoured the entire first season. While I roll my eyes at some of the storylines, overall I am captivated. However, we watched the first episode of season 2 last night and I was slightly disappointed. Hopefully the story picks up!
I saw an interesting infographic this week Work and Stress. If you read my post yesterday, you know that this is something that I struggle with. There are some great incentives on this graphic to keep your work stress to a minimum.
And finally, I saw this story and had a good chuckle! Kathryn Stockett (author of The Help) got an interesting confirmation number from Delta this week. Kind of like getting 666 on your license plate, right?
