I don’t normally talk about work in this space but this time, definitely going to go there! I haven’t really written much about who I work for out of respect for the boundaries that exist between work and home. However, for the second time I headed out to Anaheim, California for the Natural Products Expo West and Engredea and it was an amazing blur of a week.
Once I got home, I realized that I had next to know pictures of anything that happened! I was able to attend a few educational sessions and meet a lot of incredible people through networking events but I was there to support the show itself, not a company exhibiting there (even though I had a lot of booth duty!). But booth duty isn’t so bad when you can start your morning getting a tour started with a mimosa!
I was able to hit the show floor for about an hour and I saw some incredible new products! One of my favorites was the new line from The Republic of Tea. While I am a Celestial Fan through and through, some extra flavors every once and a while is not a bad thing. I will definitely be hitting up the store to grab some new tea for my desk! I also stopped by the Flapjacked booth and saw these two lovely ladies! Always nice to see a friendly face in a crowd of 65000 people!
The weather and the views were also incredible! I was afraid that it was going to be rainy and cold based on the weather reports the weeks leading up to the show but alas, 70’s and sunny every day! Had to step outside to warm up every once in a while! Luckily I snagged a good shot!
And the views from my hotel room were pretty great too!
Overall, an incredible work trip! Next time, I promise I will take more pictures!
