I cannot believe Thanksgiving is just around the corner. We are getting prepped to see my parents and (fingers crossed) my sister and her husband and adorable baby next week! Every month, I have been saving some of my favorite tunes. I want to be clear about one thing. There is no Christmas music on my November playlist! It is too soon. I have been hearing it at the store, from co-worker’s cubes, and at the coffee shop in the morning. I am a firm believer that you cannot play any kind of Christmas music until all of the dishes have been cleared off of the Thanksgiving table. I don’t care if you listen to a little Mariah Carey Christmas while you eat your turkey and cranberry leftover sandwich but not a second sooner. Next month, there will be plenty of time for Michael Buble, Bing Crosby, and the new Idina Menzel holiday album I have been eyeing.
For now, you’ll have to deal with my holiday free list!

It’s almost the 4th and that means a long weekend of family time and outdoor eating! I’ve got a few new recipes to try and I will definitely be soaking up the sun. If you are looking for a little musical inspiration to get you through the last few hours of the this work week, check out my July Spotify list!
And if I don’t have wi-fi on the patio tomorrow, enjoy the fireworks!
Sadly, I’m not on my way to Park City today! You’ll all have to fill me in when you get back.
It’s been a crazy week settling back in after my surprise vacation. Thought I would just share a few tunes with you for your Friday drive home!
And since it’s June, here is the long playlist in the making from the last 6 months!
Just popping in to share the music that I have playing at my desk this month! It’s a little all over the place but so am I!
The new carpet at our house in. If you follow me on Instagram, you already know that though. Once we have boxes unpacked, I will definitely be sharing some pictures with you.
And in other good news, the Husband’s new car is in Colorado and we are picking it up on Saturday! Hopefully the weather is good so we can drive around with the top down!
Thought this kind of dreary Wednesday would be a good excuse to share the music that keeps me upbeat while I stare at a computer screen for 8 hours a day. The first playlist is one that I curated myself and the second and third lists were created for me by the Filtr app on Spotify. It’s great to have a bit of music to put me in the creative side of my brain!
It seems I have spent an increasing amount of time at my desk over the last few months. With that kind of cube time comes a lot of time with my headphones in. What I have really loved is the opportunity to play with Spotify. In January I shared my new year tunes with you. Just wanted to share what I’ve been listening to in February.
I’ve really liked the Brave Enough Live Album. Such a fun concert. Sara Bareilles is definitely on my list of people to see live!
